SSL
code update.
The current version depends on an old version of an external SSL
implementation, which should be replaced with the code that is built-in
to newer versions of the JDK. The CertHandler should be
rewritten as a template to make it more user friendly, and HttpRequest
should be extended to handle SSL on the client side of the HTTP stack.

Of course, the entire implementation could be rewritten to "compile" templates instead of re-scanning them at each iteration. This would be a big performance win (2x - 10x?).
